I'm Mart Evans, a UK-born, Philly-based remote session drummer. I offer organic, live-played MIDI drum tracks as the perfect alternative to programmed drums. Ideal for artists, bands, and producers who want the flexibility of MIDI with the feel of a real drummer.

I’m a song drummer at heart. The goal is always to serve the song and not let the technology get in the way. Everything I do is tracked live to keep the performance organic and musical. My roots are in rock and pop, but I've touched most genres during my career. If you’re unsure whether I’m the right fit, feel free to reach out and we can discuss the project.

Put aside any fears you may have about MIDI drums. These are 100% live performances captured on an e-kit with no programming or "help". You are hearing me. MIDI offers you complete flexibility in your mix that traditional recording simply can't match. As well as the MIDI file, I can also provide multitrack audio with a full complement of room and effects mics, or a mix-ready set of stems to get you working faster.

To give you the best of both worlds, I deliver:
• The Raw MIDI: Mapped to your VST for total flexibility.
• The Audio Stems: Full multitrack audio generated from industry-standard libraries like Superior Drummer 3 (with a large selection of expansions), GGD, and Steven Slate Drums amongst others.
